FordPass Features Now Complimentary
Ford Motor Company has announced that popular FordPass features are now complimentary.* FordPass, powered by FordPass Connect allows owners to remotely start, stop or unlock their vehicles as well as schedule maintenance and chat with Ford Guides.
FordPass Connect service was previously only available to Ford drivers through one, two or five-year trial subscriptions. Now, the FordPass Connect single mobile platform will allow customers to enjoy the convenience of remote features, including scheduling start times all for free.
Ford’s customer loyalty program, FordPass Rewards is also complimentary. The program allows Ford owners to earn points that can be redeemed for maintenance services with the purchase or lease of a new Ford vehicle. FordPass Rewards customers also earn points on select service costs at Ford dealerships.
By removing subscription fees for these new features Ford becomes the first full-line automaker to offer complimentary remote and connected service features (on select model year vehicles equipped with FordPass Connect). When compared to the costs of similar features across other automotive brands, savings to new Ford customers could add up to around $180 a year.
“When customer experience is consistently done correctly it increases loyalty,” said Kari Novatney, FordPass. “We think it’s important for our customers to have the ability to conveniently and safely access their vehicle from the FordPass app anyplace and anytime.”
Our Ford Dealership service Dallas, Texas is always pleased to announce new features, innovations and cost savings to our customers. If you have any questions about FordPass features please contact us.
* FordPass Connect, (optional on select vehicles), (SYNC Connect for 2017/2018 model year vehicles), the FordPass App., and FordPass Connect Service are required for remote features (see FordPass Terms for details). Connected Service is now complimentary for remote features excluding Wi-Fi hotspot. Connected service and features depend on compatible AT&T network availability. Evolving technology/cellular networks/vehicle capability may limit functionality and prevent operation of connected features.
